In the north of the island, Alcanada is right by the sea. This club is named after a nearby island just off the shore. The island has its own lighthouse which can be seen from most of the holes on the course. On the course, players are surrounded by pine and olive groves throughout. Most noteworthy is Alcanada was named the best course in Europe. This acclaim was given by German magazine Golf Journal. Furthermore that is for the fourth year in a row in 2012.
Golf de Andratx is in the south west of Mallorca. An amazing golf course with breathtaking scenery.
It is surrounded by ancient olive trees, almond trees and ancient stone walls.
The 18-hole course is considered to be one of the most challenging in the Mediterranean.
The par-five sixth hole – the Green Monster – measures more than 600 yards and boasts the title of the longest hole in Spain.
